How to Book an Appointment
We make it easy to get the support you need. Simply fill out the form below and arrange a session with a member of our team. You can choose between three appointment options:
Face-to-Face Appointments
Meet with us in person at one of our locations in Highlands:
- Inverness (The Hive Centre): Open every evening from 6.00pm to 10:00pm (excluding Public Holidays). 4 Strothers Lane, Inverness, IV1 1LR.
- Alness Outreach Hive: Open Wednesday from 4.30pm to 8pm (excluding Public Holidays). The Place, 61 High Street, Alness, IV17 0SH.
- Nairn Outeach Hive (CAB): Open Wednesday from 2.30 to 4.30pm – Citizens Advice Bureau, 58 King Street, Nairn, IV12 4DN
- Nairn Outreach Hive (URC): Open Wednesday from 6.00pm to 10.00pm (excluding Public Holidays). Rear Entrance Hall at United Reformed Church, Crescent Road, Nairn, IV12 4NB.
- Elgin Outreach Hive: Open Thursday from 2.45pm to 7pm (Excluding Public Holidays). Office 2, Caledonian House Business Centre, 164 High Street, Elgin, IV30 1BD.
- Tain Outreach Hive: Open Tuesdays from 4.45pm-8.15pm (excluding Public Holidays). For You Training Office, First Floor, Victoria Buildings, High St, Tain IV19 1AE.
- Portmahomack: Please contact: enquiries@mikeysline.co.uk and we will be in touch to arrange a local appointment for you.
- Inverness, Hilton Family Support: Open every other Friday from 9.30am – 11.30am (excluding Public Holidays). Hilton Family Support Centre – (The Light House), 4 Tomatin Road, Inverness IV2 4UA, UK.
- Thurso Outreach Hive: Open Wednesdays – please click on the Book An Appointment tab below to view available appointment times. Morvern Building, North Highland College, UHI, Ormlie Road, Thurso, KW14 7EE.
- Isle of Skye, Kyle of Lochalsh and local surrounding area: Please contact: enquiries@mikeysline.co.uk and we will be in touch to arrange a local appointment for you.
For Online or Telephone appointments please find information below.
Online Appointment:
If visiting in person isn’t possible, we offer online support appointments via Zoom. A private link will be sent to you for you to log on at the agreed time. When booking, please select any of the locations, select ”Online” and we will forward a zoom meeting link to you in advance.
Telephone Appointments:
If visiting in person isn’t possible, and you would prefer to talk over the phone then we offer telephone support appointments, too. A member of our team will phone you at the time of your appointment. When booking, simply select any of the locations and select “Telephone”. A member of our team will call you at the time you have selected.

What to expect?
– In person:
You’ll be greeted by our friendly and empathetic team members who are trained to listen and provide non-judgemental support. Then your session will be tailored to your specific needs. Whether you want to just talk to someone, seek advice, or explore coping strategies we’re here to assist you.
When you choose a telephone appointment you’ll have the flexibility to choose a date and time that suits you. A member of our experienced and compassionate team is on the other end of the line, ready to listen, provide guidance and offer emotional support. You can rest assured your telephone appointment is conducted in a private and confidential manner. You can speak openly and honestly about your thoughts and feelings without fear of judgement.
– Online:
A Zoom call appointment allows you to connect with our friendly team members through a secure and easy-to-use video conferencing platform.Your Zoom call appointment is conducted at a time that you choose, in a confidential and private virtual space. You can openly discuss your thoughts and emotions without concern or judgement. Our team of experienced and empathetic professionals are there to listen, provide guidance and offer emotional support through the video call.

When booking, simply select any of the locations, then select “Face-to-Face in Person”, “Telephone” or “Online” to let us know your preference. If you choose online, you’ll be sent a zoom link for your appointment.

Are your locations accessible for individuals with disabilities?
The Inverness Hive, the Alness and Nairn outreach Hives are located on the ground floor and are accessible.
Is there any cost associated with your services?
No, our services are provided free of charge. We are here to support you without any financial burden.
How long is the typical appointment duration?
Typically appointments are 30 mins long. However, appointment durations may vary depending on your needs and the type of support required. Our team will work with you to ensure that the appointment duration is suitable for your situation.
What should I do if I’m in a crisis and need immediate assistance?
In case of a crisis or emergency, please contact emergency services on 999 or a crisis helpline immediately. If you are unsure where to turn for help, feel free to reach out to us, via our SMS service or Facebook messenger. We will do our best to help or guide you to the appropriate resources
